IT’S BACK!! The summer intensive is a fantastic week of throwing. Whether you’ve only just started at the CLAYHOUSE or if you’ve been with us a while and would like to practise practise practice. You will be working from 10-1pm and 2-5pm with a break for lunch at 1pm and tea and cake at 3pm. As this intensive is a mixed ability course, there will be 2 demos (every day) for everyone to try, including throwing bigger and taller, cake stands and lidded pieces (big and small) and more, however if you have a project in mind, please let me know on the first day and we can turn your ideas into beautiful pieces. I suggest you bring sketches, photos or screen shots of your ideas. We will throw mon/tue/wed, turning on thur/fri and the glaze day will be on the 12th September. Other things to know Please bring an apron, towel and lunch (snacks provided). I will book The Fox in Crouch End for lunch on Friday for anyone who would like to join. If you have any clay requests, please let me know and I will have them ready for you at the beginning of the course. You may bring your own slips, glazes or engobes but please clear them with me before buying. Sooooo excited! Please be aware that there will be high demand for this course so book early.
