Service Description

Hone your skills and learn new ones on this week long extravaganza. You will watch demos, see and practise examples of forms and shapes, big and small, and most importantly, spend up to 6 hours per day, on the wheel. (Don't worry, you'll be allowed to get up and stretch your legs once in a while.) A few days before the course begins, you will be sent a lesson plan as well as some ideas to think about before coming to class. IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW AND DO; * please tie hair back and cut nails short. * if you can bring an apron from home, please do. If not, you can borrow a studio apron for the week. It will be your responsibility to clean your apron throughout the course.( I can give advice on how to clean a very dirty apron at home.) * as always, snacks, tea and coffee will be offered but lunch is not provided. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch which can be kept in the fridge. On Friday, you can join me for lunch at The Fox which is a 5 minute walk from the studio. * we will take an hour for lunch every day between 1-2pm but you are welcome to stay in the studio and use that time to practise what you've learnt. Please do take a break though, even for 15mins. * the glaze day will be on Saturday 23rd August at 2.30-5.30pm. Please let me know if you can't make this or any other day. We will not be able to make up the missed session/s but I could give you alternative dates to book onto, for glazing. Can't wait to get started and have a fun week with you all.
